Vinyl Plank Installation
Stain Color
Light oak look
Finish
Matte wear layer
Town
Brooklyn
The Challenge
Co-op rules require sound control, and the slab under the tile had dips from an old renovation.
Our Approach
We ground down the high spots, filled the dips and used a vinyl with a thick acoustic backing that met the building rules.
The Process
The planks ran through the living room, hall and kitchen with no breaks, finished with white trim.
Materials and Finish
Luxury vinyl plank with acoustic backing, slab patch and white trim.
The Result
The co-op approved the work, the neighbors below hear less, and the couple loves how light the apartment feels.
