The Challenge
The trim was a deep brown with a hint of red, and the floor had pale patches where rugs once sat.
Our Approach
We sanded out the rug lines and tested jacobean and two blends next to the trim before choosing.
The Process
The stain went on by hand, room by room, and was sealed with three layers of satin.
Materials and Finish
Jacobean stain and a satin finish.
The Result
The floors and trim match as if they were stained together, and the rug lines are gone.
