The Challenge
The old treads were cracked at the nose, and a few rocked when you stepped on them.
Our Approach
We fixed the stringers, removed the old treads and installed solid oak on every step.
The Process
Treads were glued and nailed, sealed in a low slip satin, and the risers were painted white.
Materials and Finish
Solid oak treads, painted risers and a low slip satin finish.
The Result
The tenants noticed the change right away, and the stairs are quiet and steady.
