The Challenge
The subfloor had squeaks and the living room had a slope toward the fireplace.
Our Approach
We fastened the squeaky spots, shimmed the slope and laid the oak toward the front windows.
The Process
The oak was nailed down, sanded and finished in a warm natural color.
Materials and Finish
Two and a quarter inch red oak, subfloor work and a satin finish.
The Result
The front rooms feel warm and solid, and the squeaks are gone.
