The Challenge
Parquet squares from that era are hard to find, and the glue under them had failed.
Our Approach
We lifted the loose squares, cleaned off the old glue and reset them, replacing the cracked ones with matching oak parquet.
The Process
The hallway was sanded flat and finished so the reset pieces match the rest of the apartment.
Materials and Finish
Matching oak parquet, flooring adhesive and a satin finish.
The Result
The hallway is quiet again, with no loose squares clicking underfoot.
