The Challenge
The oak had carpet tack strips nailed around the edges and paint drips near the walls.
Our Approach
We pulled every tack strip, filled the holes and sanded to bare wood, edging carefully along the walls.
The Process
A sealer and two layers of satin went on, with a light buff between layers.
Materials and Finish
Sanded oak, wood filler, sealer and a satin finish.
The Result
The living room looks warm and new, and the family is planning to do the bedrooms next.
