The Challenge
The water had soaked into the subfloor, and the strips nearby had cupped.
Our Approach
We let the area dry fully, cut out every damaged piece and replaced the soft subfloor before weaving in new oak.
The Process
After the new strips were nailed and glued, the room was sanded together and sealed so the repair blends in.
Materials and Finish
New subfloor patch, matching oak strips and a satin finish.
The Result
The floor is flat again and nobody can see where the radiator leaked.
