The Challenge
The condo association required sound control, and the old carpet pad was glued to the subfloor.
Our Approach
We scraped the pad, patched the low spots and used a vinyl with an attached acoustic backing that met the building rules.
The Process
The planks ran from the front door through the kitchen with no transitions, trimmed in new white quarter round.
Materials and Finish
Luxury vinyl plank with acoustic backing, floor patch and quarter round.
The Result
The unit passed the association check and cleaning now takes ten minutes.
