The Challenge
The strips had turned black around the edges and the stain had spread under the sofa.
Our Approach
We pulled the damaged strips, dried the subfloor with fans and wove in new oak with staggered joints.
The Process
The whole room was lightly sanded and finished so the new strips match the old ones.
Materials and Finish
Matching oak strips, subfloor drying and a satin finish.
The Result
The black stains are gone and the living room floor looks whole again.
