Water Resistant Laminate
Laminate stands up to a Saturday of kids' cleats, a beagle's nails and a dragged kitchen chair, and it costs well under what solid oak would in the same room.

Cartons land in your garage a day after you choose. Laminate sits in the room overnight to get used to the indoor air, then installers snap the first rows in.
Your estimator brings boxes of laminate, vinyl and hardwood pieces, leans them by the patio door, and you get to judge each one under the light that room really has.
If a seam we laid near your slider opens within a year of install, we'll be back to fix it; the planks have their maker's warranty too. Pay labor at arrival, material at drop off.

Labor is $1.99/Sq Ft for our crew to put it down. For the planks, Brazil Floors buys at contractor pricing, and when a competitor's paper quote shows a lower number, we beat it.
Vinyl handles real water better, so in a basement near the Ipswich River we usually point folks toward LVP. Laminate is great on the main floor and upstairs, where it's dry.
It can, as long as you pick a water resistant line and mop up spills the same day. A dishwasher that leaks overnight is a different story, so we run a bead of silicone along the edge by the sink.
A short rest is a good idea. We stack the cartons in the room for a day or two so the planks adjust to the indoor air before the crew clicks them together.
Two or three average rooms are usually done in one day. A whole first floor in a colonial on Maple Street can run into a second day, depending on how many doorways need trimming.
Carpet always comes up, at about $1.00/Sq Ft. Flat tile or sheet vinyl that's glued tight can usually stay, and the new laminate goes right over it.
Our installers collect labor on the morning they start, and the material is paid for once it's stacked inside your house. The estimate is free.
Install work is guaranteed twelve months by Brazil Floors, and the laminate itself carries the manufacturer's own warranty. Each installer we send to Middleton has passed NWFA training, and we carry a license and full insurance.
