Dustless Floor Refinishing
A vacuum hose clips onto every sander, so fine oak powder gets pulled away instead of settling on sills facing Liberty Street. A last vacuum and tack cloth come before finish.

Most rooms take three or four days, rough sanding through the final finish. Walk on it in clean bare feet after a day, and leave the area rugs rolled until the next weekend.
Bad spots get fixed before the sanders start. Dog stained or cracked pieces come out, loose ones get nailed tight, and the new color comes out even from wall to wall.
We guarantee refinishing work for a year. You'll pay half when the sanders get unloaded on day one, then the second half after we roll the final layer of finish.

Clear finish right on the sanded oak, no color added, keeps a sunny kitchen near Middleton Pond light and natural.

Warm medium brown hides toast crumbs and sneaker scuffs in a busy entry off Route 62.

Soft neutral brown calms the pink and orange tones of older red oak and goes with white trim in houses around Will's Hill.

Reddish brown suits the Federal style rooms you find in older houses near the Flint Public Library.

Deep coffee brown gives a dining room in a big colonial off Peabody Street a formal look while the grain still shows.

Almost black looks bold in a big open family room, though golden retriever fur shows on it quickly, and the estimator will warn you of that.

Our sanding plus new finish runs $2.50/Sq Ft. Want color too? Stain is $2.00/Sq Ft on top of that, and solid oak stair treads are redone for $50 per step.
Most families do. Keep kids and pets out of the rooms on our list. If the bedrooms are getting done, spending a night with relatives in Danvers while the finish dries keeps things simple.
A vacuum pulls the dust off at the sanding drum itself. Then, before the first layer of finish, the crew vacuums the room again, so your walls and the furniture in the next room stay nearly spotless.
Pale ones sometimes sand away. Spots that have turned black mean urine got down below the surface, so we pull those strips, lace new oak into the gap and sand the patch level with the rest.
Solid oak like the floors in most Middleton capes can take many sandings. Engineered floors only have a thin veneer of hardwood on top, so our estimator checks it at a heating register before promising anything.
Kitchen chairs with felt pads can return after two days or so. Area rugs and the heavy sofa need longer while the finish hardens; ask the crew lead and he'll mark the day on your calendar.
The bill splits in two. One half gets paid when our drum sanders come off the truck, and the rest once you're happy with the final finish. The visit to measure and quote costs nothing.
Every Middleton refinish is handled by Brazil Floors employees who are NWFA certified, and we're fully licensed and insured. We back that work for one year.
