Only NWFA certified people from our own payroll swing the nailer in your house. Brazil Floors holds a license plus full insurance on each Nemasket area job.
On day one the measurements get redone from scratch. Every carton, every reducer and every stick of trim is counted so nobody runs to the warehouse halfway down a hall.
We stand behind installation labor a full twelve months, and whoever milled your planks honors their own warranty too.

Planks run parallel with your longest wall, a plain, timeless look that leaves almost no scrap wood behind.

Herringbone stacks short pieces in a zigzag where each end tucks against its neighbor's side.

Chevron uses angled ends so each row forms a sharp V, a strong look for a long front hall.

Run on a forty five degree angle, planks visually widen a skinny bedroom and hide walls that drift out of square in older homes.

Parquet uses small square blocks, each one rotated from its neighbor, giving a dining room a tailored grid.

Basketweave lays short strips two by two, alternating direction, like a woven mat under a home office desk.

Labor for nailed hardwood runs $2.25/Sq Ft, with underlayment plus nails thrown in. Want Brazil Floors to bring the wood, too? Then it's $5.50/Sq Ft for unsanded raw oak strips or $6.00/Sq Ft for prefinished, installation folded into both.
Sometimes. Older plank subfloors can dip or squeak, so we check them with a straightedge and a moisture meter. Soft spots get fixed before hardwood goes over them.
Yes, plenty of people carry it straight through. We keep an eye on the dishwasher and sink area, and if the kitchen sees a lot of water we may suggest engineered planks instead.
We do. Ripping out and hauling off old flooring costs around $1.00/Sq Ft. Should our crew carry furniture out and bring it back afterward, that's a flat $250.
Not solid strips. Over concrete we float engineered hardwood on a pad at $2.00/Sq Ft, glue each joint, and nothing ever gets fastened into that slab.
Usually overnight, trucked up from our Coventry warehouse. Solid wood then rests in your home a few days, getting used to its humidity, before fastening starts.
Pay the labor on the morning the installers arrive and the material when it's dropped at your door. The in-home estimate and samples are free.
