Before ordering anything, our lead installer goes through the house with a moisture meter and a level, noting soft subfloor, uneven thresholds and how the stairs meet the new height.

Nobody on your floor is hired for the day. Every installer is a Brazil Floors employee with a license, insurance and NWFA certification.
Install day starts with a second pass of the tape. Cartons are counted, reducers are laid at each opening, and only then do the first rows go in.
We guarantee our labor for a full year, while the mill's own warranty protects the wood.

Rows follow the longest wall, which means the least cutting waste and a restful feel in a wide room.

Short boards alternate in a zigzag, each one cut by hand, for a formal dining room.

Ends cut at 45 degrees meet in neat arrows that lead the eye through a long room.

A diagonal layout stretches a small bedroom and disguises corners that are slightly off square.

Parquet tiles turned in alternating directions make a graphic floor for a den.

Basket weave pairs short oak pieces in a checker of direction changes, fine for a front hall.
