Walkthrough Before We Start
Old farmhouses in the Blackstone River Valley settle over the decades, so our lead checks the subfloor, the thresholds and the stairs before a single board goes down.

Every installer who enters your home carries a license, insurance and NWFA certification, which protects you and the house from the first board to the last.
The crew measures each room, then stacks boxes, trim and reducers where they will be used, so nobody hunts for a piece mid job.
We stand behind the labor for one year, and the planks keep the maker's own warranty on top of it, so wood and workmanship are both covered.

Boards run along the longest wall for the least waste. In a long Mendon ranch hallway, that makes the space look deeper.

Short pieces set in a zigzag, each cut and fitted by hand. It looks right in a formal dining room in an older farmhouse.

Each row is mitered at 45 degrees and meets in a V. A good fit for open layouts in newer builds on the edge of town.

Planks turned 45 degrees to the walls pull the eye across a room, so a compact Mendon kitchen seems wider.

Squares of oak with the grain alternating, parquet fashion. A traditional touch for a sunroom with a view of the pond.

Short strips woven over and under, often framed by a darker border. Fits a country house with a front parlor.

Nail-down labor is $2.25/Sq Ft, and the nails and underlayment are part of that figure. Unfinished hardwood supplied by us comes to $5.50/Sq Ft installed, prefinished to $6.00.
Yes. The crew takes up the carpet, pad and tack strips, secures any loose subfloor and nails the new oak to solid plywood. Hauling out the old flooring adds roughly $1.00/Sq Ft to the quote.
Engineered. It floats over underlayment with glued joints, so nothing is driven into the concrete, and labor for that method is $2.00/Sq Ft.
We do. Vinyl plank labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate $1.99/Sq Ft, and vinyl plank is the better fit for a damp basement.
Boxes leave the Natick warehouse the next day, and the crew sets your start date around that drop.
New treads cost $60 apiece, riser, nosing, stain and labor all rolled in. Sound old treads can instead be refinished at $50 a step.
You pay labor as the crew walks in and material as the boxes come off the truck. Any sanding is billed in halves, the first at the start and the second with the last coat.
Labor is covered for one year, and the flooring carries the maker's warranty. Our installers are on our payroll, licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
