Walkthrough Before We Start
Salt air and shifting seasons work on a seaside house, so our lead installer presses on the subfloor, checks every doorway and looks at the stairs before a single board is ordered.

Every installer on your job is a Brazil Floors employee, never a subcontractor. They are licensed, insured and NWFA certified, and they answer to us for how the floor turns out.
On the first visit we walk each room with a tape, mark the transitions and count what the cartons need. The layout is set on paper before anyone picks up a nailer.
You get one year of labor warranty from our side and the maker's own warranty on the boards, so both the install and the wood are covered after we leave.

Boards running with the longest wall waste the least wood and stretch a compact Cape living room.

A herringbone field suits a dining room in a Cedar Crest colonial where the table sits center stage.

Chevron rows meet in a crisp point and lead the eye down a long hall.

Boards set on the diagonal widen a narrow entry in a Blackman's Point cottage.

Parquet squares in alternating grain give a sunroom a tailored, traditional feel.

A basket-weave panel with a dark border frames the center of a Cove Street dining room.

Our nail-down price is $2.25/Sq Ft for labor, with the nails and the underlayment folded in. If we supply the wood, unfinished runs $5.50/Sq Ft and prefinished $6.00/Sq Ft installed.
Yes, tear-out of old flooring is about $1.00/Sq Ft. We pull the carpet, pad and staples, check the plywood underneath and fix weak spots before the oak goes down.
Engineered planks floated over padding, at $2.00/Sq Ft of labor. Nothing is nailed into the concrete, which makes it the sensible pick below grade.
Nail and glue is $2.50/Sq Ft for labor plus the adhesive. It holds wider boards firmly against the subfloor through humid summers.
We move furniture for a flat $250, so the rooms are clear when the crew arrives. You can also move it yourself and skip that line.
Boxes leave our Natick warehouse the day after you order. Your estimator sets the install date once the order is in.
Labor comes due the morning the crew starts, and the wood is paid for as the boxes land. If sanding is part of the job, half is due at the start and half after the last coat.
Labor carries a one-year warranty from Brazil Floors, and the wood has the manufacturer's warranty. Our own crews are licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
