Everyone we send to Eastford is a Brazil Floors employee with a license, insurance and NWFA certification, so your house and our people are covered from the first cut to the last.
The crew tapes out every room on day one and stages the cartons, moldings and transitions where they will be needed, which keeps the install moving without stops.
You get a full year of labor warranty from us on top of the manufacturer warranty that comes with the planks, so both the wood and the work are protected.

Boards run the length of the room along the longest wall, the quickest layout with the least waste. It stretches a low ceilinged cape on Old Colony Road.

Short lengths meeting at right angles, fitted one piece at a time. It belongs in the dining room of an eighteenth century house in Eastford center.

Planks cut at 45 degrees so every pair meets in a sharp V. A good match for the open floor plans in the newer houses off Hartford Turnpike.

A diagonal layout pulls the eye corner to corner, which opens up a snug kitchen in a Phoenixville mill house.

Blocks of oak set with the grain turned each way, parquet style. A classic choice for a sunroom looking out toward the Still River.

Short oak strips woven over and under, usually framed by a darker border. Right at home in the older houses along Kingsbury Road.

Nail down labor is a flat $2.25/Sq Ft with nails and underlayment built in. With our wood included, the package is $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Yes, we screw down a plywood layer first so the new oak has a flat, solid base. That prep is written into the estimate as a line item.
Engineered hardwood floated over foam at $2.00/Sq Ft is the standard answer. If the slab reads wet, we recommend vinyl plank instead.
We schedule the northeast corner in blocks, so your job gets a full crew for the whole run. Material comes from the Milford warehouse the day after you order.
Next day from Milford, and the planks sit in the house a few days to settle before we nail. You pay for the material when it is delivered.
A tread is $60 apiece, and the riser, nosing, stain and labor ride inside that price. We match the stain to the new floor at the bottom of the stairs.
Labor is paid when the crew arrives to start, and material when the boxes land. Should the Eastford crew need to clear couches and beds first, that service is a flat $250.
One year on our labor, and the manufacturer warranty on the planks themselves. Anything that lifts or gaps from our work gets fixed at no cost.
