Walkthrough Before We Start
Raised ranches from the seventies and Victorians from the 1880s both hide uneven subfloors, so our lead checks every room, doorway and stair in your Coventry house before the first plank.
Raised ranches from the seventies and Victorians from the 1880s both hide uneven subfloors, so our lead checks every room, doorway and stair in your Coventry house before the first plank.
Each person working in your home carries a license, insurance and NWFA certification and draws a Brazil Floors paycheck, so no subcontractor ever steps inside.
Our crew starts by taping every room, then lines up cartons, transitions and trim near the door so nobody waits on material mid job.
A full year of labor warranty comes from us, and the planks keep the manufacturer warranty, so the install and the material are both protected.

Rows run with the longest wall, the fastest layout and the least waste. It makes a split level living room off South Street feel longer.

Equal boards set at right angles, each piece fitted by hand. Period correct for a dining room in a South Coventry Victorian.

Each plank is cut at 45 degrees and paired with its mirror, so the rows meet in a sharp central V. Suits the open floor plans of the newer homes in North Coventry.

Boards laid diagonally draw the eye corner to corner, which makes a small kitchen in a Lake Street cottage feel roomier.

Oak squares with grain turned block to block, parquet fashion. A classic for a sunroom in a colonial near High Street.

Narrow oak strips woven in an over and under pattern with a contrasting edge. At home in the front parlors along Main Street.

Nail down labor holds at a flat $2.25/Sq Ft, and the nails and underlayment are already in that figure. Oak from our warehouse plus installation comes to $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Yes. The crew removes carpet, pad and tack strips, screws down any spongy subfloor, and nails the new oak over solid plywood.
Engineered oak, floated on foam with glue in every joint so nothing penetrates the concrete. Labor for that is $2.00/Sq Ft.
Both. Vinyl plank labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate is $1.99/Sq Ft, and waterproof vinyl makes sense for a lake house mudroom or a damp lower level.
Next day. Our trucks run out of Milford every day, and the oak then rests in your house for a few days to acclimate before nailing.
A new oak tread runs $60, with riser, nosing, stain and labor inside that number. Worn but solid stairs can instead be sanded and refinished at $50 per step.
Labor is due the morning the crew arrives and material when the boxes are delivered to the house. Reserving a date costs nothing.
Yes. One year on our labor and the manufacturer warranty on the boards, with every installer licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
