Nobody in your Columbia house is a subcontractor. Every installer is a licensed, insured, NWFA certified Brazil Floors employee who finishes what he starts.
Rooms get measured first thing, cartons, trim and reducers are stacked by the door and the saw station lives on the porch, so the crew never breaks rhythm.
Our workmanship is warrantied for a year, and the oak carries its manufacturer warranty, so the labor and the lumber are both covered after we leave.

Boards parallel to the longest wall, quickest to lay with the least cutoff. It stretches a small lake cottage living room.

Short boards set at right angles in a zigzag, each one scribed and fitted. Period-correct for a dining room in a Columbia Green colonial.

Boards mitered at 45 degrees so every row meets in a clean V. Fits the open plans of newer Columbia houses off Route 87.

A diagonal layout carries the eye across the room and makes a narrow North Society kitchen feel broader.

Oak squares with the grain turned block to block, traditional parquet. Suits a sunroom facing Columbia Lake.

Short oak lengths laced over and under each other inside a darker border. Found in the older homes along Route 87 near the Green.

Nail-down labor holds at a flat $2.25/Sq Ft, nails and underlayment included. With Brazil Floors supplying the oak, unfinished comes to $5.50/Sq Ft installed and prefinished to $6.00/Sq Ft.

We install both, vinyl plank at $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate at $1.99/Sq Ft for labor. Waterproof vinyl earns its keep in Columbia Lake mudrooms and basements.
The day after you order, on our truck from 92 Munson St in Milford. Solid oak then rests inside the house a few days before we nail it.
A new tread runs $60, including riser, nosing, stain and labor. Existing sound steps can be refinished instead for $50 apiece.
Labor is due the morning the crew starts and material the day the boxes are delivered. If we move the furniture, it is a flat $250.
Yes, a one-year labor warranty from us and the manufacturer warranty on the boards. The hands on the job belong to licensed, insured, NWFA certified Brazil Floors employees.
