Samples on Your Own Wood
You choose color on your actual floor. Four or five shades go onto freshly sanded squares in the room itself, and you keep an eye on them overnight before naming a favorite.

Stain exposes any spiral marks from the sanding machine, so our closing round is done with extra fine paper and a careful vacuum before pigment goes down.
Our finisher works pigment into one small area, wipes off what the grain did not drink with a lint free rag, then moves on, so lap lines and dark blotches never build up.
Staining is done by NWFA trained Brazil Floors employees. If our workmanship fails within a year, we return without charge, and the finish brand backs its product too.

Stain by itself is $2.00/Sq Ft. If your floors also need sanding and new clear finish, the full refinish is $2.50/Sq Ft with color already included, and the free estimate spells it out.
Yes. Our finisher sands a few small squares and brushes several shades on them, so you can check each one in harbor light over coffee and again near sunset before choosing.
Red oak carries natural reddish tannins that show up under pale colors. A toner, or a mix leaning more toward brown, calms that cast, and a sample on your own strips removes the guesswork.
Gray reads best beside white or painted trim and cool wall colors. With honey toned trim it can feel off, so we put a sample next to your woodwork before committing.
Dark shades can soften light marks, but deep black urine stains remain visible. Those strips are usually replaced first so the new color lands on clean wood.
Bare feet are usually fine after the first day, but please hold off on furniture for several more days while the finish hardens. The crew gives you exact timing at the visit.
Half is due when our finisher starts, and the balance once you have seen the finished color and approved it. No other deposit is collected ahead of time.
Yes. If our application shows a defect within a year, a licensed, insured finisher comes back and fixes it for free, and the finish maker's warranty covers the product too.
