How long will the kitchen be unusable?
That depends on the size of the room and the coats chosen. At the estimate we walk the floor and tell you what to expect for your house.
Where should the dog go during the work?
Away from the floor until the finish has cured. A friend, a kennel or the yard works, and we will tell you when it is safe.
Is sanding a dusty mess?
Our sanders connect to a vacuum, so most dust is captured at the machine. Edges and corners are cleaned by hand.
Do I have to be home?
Someone should let us in and be reachable. After that you can go about your day.
What do stairs cost?
Stair refinishing is $50 per step. Brand new oak treads are $60 each, riser and nosing and stain along with them.
Is a deposit required?
For sanding work you pay half on day one and the other half with the final coat. There is no charge for the in-home estimate.
