Dustless Floor Refinishing
Before the big drum sander ever starts, our crew covers vents, tapes off doorways and hangs plastic, then vacuums the room again between every pass.

A typical first floor takes a few days, start to finish. Barefoot walking is fine the next day, and furniture can come back in a couple of days after that.
Pet stains, deep gouges and loose strips get fixed before sanding, so the repaired spots blend in once the room is finished. Repairs are priced at the free estimate.
We guarantee refinishing labor for twelve months. Fifty percent gets paid on sanding day one, the balance once that final layer of finish has dried.

Clear finish and no stain keeps white oak pale and bright, popular in sunny rooms near the Leicester Public Library.

Medium brown with some warmth keeps everyday scuffs low key in Rochdale kitchens and family rooms.

A quiet, sandy brown flatters almost any trim and calms that orange glow red oak develops after decades of sun.

Reddish brown, a little like strong tea, looks at home in Cherry Valley colonials framed by bright white trim.

Dark like coffee yet still showing the grain, this shade gives a dining room near Washburn Square a formal mood.

Nearly black, this tone stands out in a big open living area. Lint and pet hair show a little sooner, and we tell you that up front.

Sanding plus refinishing comes to $2.50/Sq Ft. Adding a stain color on top runs another $2.00/Sq Ft. Our crew can haul the furniture out and carry it back for $250 if you would rather skip the lifting.
Most solid oak has room for several more sandings. Engineered planks vary with the thickness of the wood layer up top, so we pull a floor register and look at the edge before quoting.
Usually the day after the last layer of finish, in bare feet or clean slippers. Hold off on rugs and the heavy dresser for a few more days while the finish cures hard.
Most people do. You just stay out of the room under the sander. If the job blocks the only path to the kitchen, we work out which rooms go first so you still get dinner on the table.
Light surface marks often sand out. Dark spots that soaked deep into the oak usually mean cutting in new strips first, which we price during the estimate.
Water based dries clear, has a milder smell and lets the job wrap sooner. Oil based adds an amber glow some people love on red oak. We put a sample of each down so you can compare side by side.
You pay half when the sanding starts and settle the remaining half once we are done. No large deposit is needed to get on the schedule.
Yes. The crew is ours, licensed and insured, and should any labor issue pop up in the following twelve months, we return and handle it free.
