Dustless Floor Refinishing
Big drum sanders run tethered to strong vacuums that grab most dust where it rises, and the room is cleaned top to bottom before finish goes down.

Sanding to final finish usually takes just a few days. Before work starts you get a written schedule for barefoot walking and for moving furniture back.
Gaps, black pet spots and loose strips get handled before sanding begins, so the repair blends in. Repair pricing comes free during the estimate walk through.
Refinishing labor is warrantied one year. Payment splits evenly: half the morning the drum sander arrives, the other half after your final walk around.

Clear sealed with no stain at all, oak stays light and golden in a sunny room near the Millers River.

A medium brown hides the sand and grit that rides in from Route 2 on winter boots.

A soft neutral tones down the orange that red oak often turns with age, and it plays nicely with gray walls.

Reddish brown warms up a dining room that looks out toward Farley Ledges on short winter afternoons.

Dark walnut lends a formal room some depth, yet the oak grain beneath stays visible through the stain.

Ebony, nearly black, makes big rooms look striking, though it shows dust sooner than paler shades.

Our rate is $2.50/Sq Ft for sanding plus refinishing, and color and polyurethane come with it. Furniture moving is $250 flat if needed, and repairs get priced during that same estimate visit.
Our sanders connect to vacuums that catch dust at the source, which keeps the house far cleaner than old style machines ever did. Doorways get plastic, and all surfaces are cleaned before finishing.
Plenty of Erving families stay put. Keep a route around the rooms under way, and keep pets out until the finish is dry enough to walk on.
Yes. Sanding comes first, then stain tests on your oak, and the choice happens in your own daylight. Staining alone runs $2.00/Sq Ft, though full refinishing at $2.50/Sq Ft already includes color.
Light scratches sand away. Gouges get filled, and black pet stains sunk deep into the wood usually call for swapping those strips before sanding so the floor looks even.
Half is due when the first sanding day begins. The second half waits until the last layer of poly cures and you have walked the floor with us.
Cure time hinges on the finish and the weather. Before we start, you get a day for light walking and a later day for furniture. Felt pads under legs help a lot.
Each refinish carries labor coverage for twelve months. Every sander operator is an NWFA certified Brazil Floors employee, backed by our license and insurance.
