Can vinyl plank cover an old linoleum kitchen?
Usually, if the linoleum is flat, firmly stuck and dry. Old ceramic tile is often fine too, though wall to wall carpet always has to come up first.
Does water hurt luxury vinyl?
The planks don't absorb it, so a knocked over bowl is no big deal. Serious flooding can still get underneath through the seams, so we check the subfloor at the estimate.
We have two big dogs. Will LVP survive?
Pick a plank with a thicker wear layer and claws, water bowls and indoor sprints become much less of a worry. We'll point out the toughest options when we visit.
How many days does an LVP install take?
A kitchen or cellar room is typically finished in one day, and larger areas may need two. You can move furniture back the moment we leave.
Do you move furniture out of the way?
We do, for a flat $250. Our crew carries everything from the work area and returns it once the vinyl is installed and swept.
When is payment due for vinyl work?
Material is paid at delivery and installation is paid on the morning our crew arrives. There's no deposit before that point.
