Can LVP handle a basement that floods now and then?
Vinyl itself is waterproof and will not swell. Poly sheeting is stretched over the slab before anything else. Standing floodwater still has to be pumped out, but the planks survive.

Close to it. Rigid core rides over minor dips, but real humps get ground or patched so the click joints stay locked and nothing pops underfoot.
