Sample treads come with the estimator. Hold one against the floor at the foot of the stairs and the right species becomes clear.
A wobbly step is screwed tight before work begins. Our installer then scribes the new tread to the wall, glues and fastens it.
Each stair job is handled by licensed, insured and NWFA certified employees, and labor is warrantied for a year.

One step is $60 and includes the tread, riser, nosing, stain and labor.
Yes. We pull the carpet, pad, tack strips and staples, and set the removal price on site.
When they are solid oak, yes, at $50 per step. Cracked or thin treads are replaced.
You can stain them the same for a full wood look or paint them white for contrast.
Mostly. We secure loose steps first and then glue and fasten every new tread.
A return is added on each exposed end so the nosing wraps around the side.
Your estimator lays out the timing at the visit, and prefinished material may need longer to arrive than unfinished.
Our stair labor carries a one year warranty from licensed, insured, NWFA certified employees.
