Benjamin Moore has named Webster Green HC-130 its Color of the Year 2027, the company announced on October 14 through Business Wire. It describes the shade as a confident green with personality, one that works across styles and time periods.
Andrea Magno, the company's Vice President of Brand, Color, and Integrated Marketing, said the 2027 search centered on the green family, noting that "variations on green consistently demonstrated remarkable staying power." Benjamin Moore also hired illustrator Tanu Vasu to create hand drawn artwork that tells the story behind the palette.
The Color Trends 2027 palette has eight colors in all. Alongside Webster Green are White Down OC-131, Nelson Blue CW-635, Shakespeare Tan 228, Antique Copper 1169, Wild Aster 1240, Durango 2137-30 and Townsend Harbor Brown HC-64, picked from more than 3,500 shades. The company says they can be used together or on their own.
