No subcontractors here. Whoever works in your home is on the Brazil Floors payroll and holds a license, insurance and NWFA certification.
The crew arrives, measures again and sets cartons in the rooms they belong to, with trim pieces staged at each doorway so the work moves along without gaps in the day.
You get one year of labor coverage from us and the manufacturer warranty on the wood, so the work and the material each have someone standing behind them.

Planks follow the longest wall, which uses the least material and makes a ranch living room look deeper.

Short boards turned into a zigzag add a handcrafted feel to the entry of an older colonial.

Planks mitered to meet in a crisp point look right in an open kitchen and dining space.

A 45 degree diagonal pulls the eye toward the far wall, so a modest bedroom reads wider than it is.

Narrow oak strips woven over and under, often framed by a darker border, dress up a dining room in an East Wilbraham home.

For nail down work you pay $2.25/Sq Ft in labor, nails and underlayment inside that rate. With material from us, unfinished hardwood is $5.50/Sq Ft and prefinished is $6.00/Sq Ft installed.

A new tread is $60 and that price includes the riser, nosing, stain and labor. Treads that are still solid can instead be sanded and finished at $50 per step.
Labor is due when the crew arrives to start. The material is paid when the boxes are delivered, and sanding jobs split 50% at the start and 50% at the final coat.
We stand behind the labor for twelve months, while the mill covers the boards. Our crews are employees who are licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
