Walkthrough Before We Start
Before installing, the lead installer walks every room, tests the subfloor for give and checks how doors will clear the added thickness.

Our installers are Brazil Floors employees with licenses, insurance and NWFA certification. No part of a West Brookfield job is passed to a subcontractor.
On installation day we re-measure, count cartons against the order and set transitions at each doorway before the first nail is fired.
You receive a year of coverage on our workmanship, plus the maker warranty on the oak. A seam that opens early brings us back.

Boards follow the longest wall, the layout that wastes the least wood and calms a big room.

Short boards turned square to one another make a stepped zigzag, authentic in an old farmhouse dining room.

Plank ends are mitered so rows meet in clean arrows that lead the eye down a hall.

Set at forty five degrees, rows widen a narrow room and hide walls that are out of square.

Oak squares rotated against each other form a neat grid under a table in a sunroom.

Strips woven in an over-under pattern with a dark border give a front hall an antique air.

Nail-down labor is priced at $2.25/Sq Ft, including nails and underlayment. If the oak comes from us too, unfinished totals $5.50/Sq Ft and prefinished $6.00/Sq Ft.
The crew removes the carpet and pad at about $1.00/Sq Ft, checks the boards beneath, secures soft spots and installs new hardwood over solid plywood.
Engineered planks floated on foam with glued joints. No nails go into the concrete, and labor for that method is $2.00/Sq Ft.
Yes. Vinyl labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate labor is $1.99/Sq Ft, handy for a mudroom or bedroom.
A day after ordering, loaded at our Natick warehouse. The crew then schedules the start with you.
We do. New oak treads are $60 apiece, while sound steps can be hand refinished at $50 per step.
Labor is settled the day the crew arrives, and material is settled once the cartons are unloaded. A sanding job splits evenly, one half at the beginning and one half at the last coat.
Our labor has a one year warranty, and the manufacturer covers the wood. The crew is licensed and insured.
