Walkthrough Before We Start
Mountain houses settle and shift with every freeze. Our lead installer probes the subfloor, notes any dips and decides which way the boards should run before we open a carton.

The people kneeling on your floor are Brazil Floors employees, never subcontractors, and each is licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
The install morning begins with a second round of measuring. Cartons are counted, doorway transitions are set out, and the nailing starts once everything lines up.
You get twelve months on our workmanship and the manufacturer's coverage on the boards, so the labor and the lumber each have a warranty behind them.

Rows that follow the longest wall are the classic lay, quick to install and light on waste.

A zigzag of short boards gives a dining room an old-world, woven character.

Board ends cut at an angle meet as arrows that lead the eye the length of a corridor.

Set at 45 degrees, the rows widen a narrow bedroom and disguise a wall that is a bit out of square.

Parquet squares turned against each other form a neat grid beneath a dining table.

Basket weave flips short strips in alternating squares, a crafted accent for a study or sunroom.

Nail down labor is priced at $2.25/Sq Ft, covering nails and underlayment. If we also supply the wood, installed unfinished oak is $5.50/Sq Ft and prefinished is $6.00/Sq Ft.
Yes. Tear-out averages about $1.00/Sq Ft and we haul the waste away. Moving furniture out and back is a flat $250 if you want it handled.
Solid hardwood does, for a few days, and we check moisture in both the oak and the plywood. That pause protects you from gaps and cupping once winter heat comes on.
Engineered boards, floated over underlayment with glue in the joints, at $2.00/Sq Ft of labor. Solid oak should not be used on a slab.
Next day, from our own warehouse in Natick. The crew's start date is set with you at the free in-home estimate.
We buy direct, and material bought through us can be up to 30% off. If you hold a written quote for the same floor, show it to us.
Labor is due when the crew shows up to begin, and the material is due as the boxes are delivered. For sanding, half is due at the outset and the second half when the last coat is applied.
We warrant our labor for one year, and the plank maker covers the wood. Phone 508-306-4190 and the same licensed, insured team returns to check it.
