Our labor rates are $2.25/Sq Ft nailed, $2.50 nailed and glued, $2.00 floated. Packages with material run $5.50 for unfinished and $6.00 for prefinished per Sq Ft.
How soon can the hardwood arrive?
Our own Coventry warehouse holds stock, so most orders reach Wales the next day. Give the planks a few days indoors, and they adjust to your humidity before nailing.
Who pulls up the carpet before install?
Our crew handles it for about $1.00/Sq Ft, hauling off carpet and padding and sweeping the plywood before any oak comes in.
Can the crew move our furniture?
Yes, for a flat $250. Beds, sofas and dressers are carried to the garage or another room, then carried back in after the final row is nailed.
Can a lakeside basement have hardwood?
Solid oak should stay off concrete. Over a dry slab, engineered planks floating on a foam pad are the safe choice, with labor at $2.00/Sq Ft.
Do we need to drive to a showroom?
No trip needed. Our estimator drives the samples to Wales, and each plank can rest against your cabinets and paint before you decide.
How do installation payments work?
Wood gets paid for when the truck unloads it, with labor due on the first install morning. Your written quote shows each amount in advance.
Who fixes a squeak that shows up later?
We do. Each install includes twelve months of labor protection, so if a plank starts to squeak, our installers return and quiet it free of charge.
