The people who walk through your front door are Brazil Floors employees. Each holds a license, carries insurance and has passed NWFA certification, and none of the work is passed to outside crews.
Next comes the measuring day. Each room gets a tape and a moisture reading, and the boards, trim pieces and reducers wait by the door so the crew works without gaps in the schedule.
Our workmanship is covered for twelve months. The mill adds its own warranty on the planks themselves, which leaves both the install and the wood protected.

Running boards with the long wall is quick and wasteful of nothing. It makes a narrow farmhouse parlor look longer.

Short pieces turned in a zigzag are cut one at a time, a good call for a formal dining room.

Diagonal planks pull the eye across a compact room and make a small den feel wider.

Squares of oak with shifting grain add a parquet look to a sunporch or home office.

Short strips woven over and under, usually with a dark border, belong in the oldest houses near the Squannacook River.

Next-day delivery comes from our Natick warehouse. The estimator also tells you how the boxes will be staged in the house.
One new oak tread is $60, and the riser, nosing and stain are part of that. Sanding steps that are still sound costs $50 each.
Labor is paid when the crew arrives and material when the cartons are delivered. Sanding is divided evenly between day one and the last coat.
