Walkthrough Before We Start
We begin with a walkthrough. Our lead installer presses on the subfloor, measures doorway clearances and decides how the rows should run, which counts in colonials that have shifted over the decades.

Everyone in your house is a Brazil Floors employee, not a hired-in sub, with a license, insurance and NWFA certification.
The first morning starts with another round of measuring. Cartons are carried to their rooms and reducers laid at the doorways before any nailing begins.
We stand behind our labor for twelve months, and the mill warrants the planks, so neither the install nor the wood is left uncovered.

Boards laid along the longest wall use the least wood and give a long room a steady line.

Short pieces set in a V pattern give a foyer a tailored, formal look.

Planks cut to meet at a point suit the open layouts found in newer homes near the Sudbury River.

A diagonal installation moves the eye across the room and makes a small study seem wider.

Oak squares with grain turned in alternate directions bring parquet charm to a sunroom.

A woven pattern edged with a dark border fits a traditional dining room.

Our nail down labor price is $2.25/Sq Ft, and it already pays for nails and underlayment. If the oak comes from us too, the package is $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Yes. The crew removes carpet, pad and tack strips, secures loose subfloor and nails oak to a sound base.
Engineered hardwood, floated on underlayment with glued edges, so no nails reach the slab. Labor is $2.00/Sq Ft.
We do. Labor is $2.00/Sq Ft for LVP and $1.99/Sq Ft for laminate.
We deliver the day after the order, straight from the Natick warehouse.
A new tread is $60. Treads that are still sound can be refinished instead, at $50 per step.
Labor is due as the crew arrives and material as the boxes are delivered. A sanding job is split between the start and the final coat.
A twelve month labor warranty comes from us, the manufacturer covers the boards, and every installer is licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
