NWFA certified people with a license and full insurance do the work, so walls, cabinetry and family heirlooms stay protected the whole time.
Tape comes out again the morning we start. Each carton, threshold strip and length of shoe molding is checked against the plan, which keeps us from coming up short mid room.
Twelve months on how we install it, layered over whatever coverage the wood's manufacturer provides.

Rows following the length of the room keep sightlines long and scrap to a minimum.

Blocks laid in a zigzag lend old European character to a sitting room.

Angled ends meeting point to point create a sharp arrow effect in a long gallery.

Running planks corner to corner makes a modest room look larger and masks walls slightly out of true.

Small squares alternating grain direction form a classic grid in a breakfast nook.

Short strips grouped in pairs flip at each square, a tailored weave for a private study.

Nail down labor costs $2.25/Sq Ft, rosin paper and fasteners included. If we provide the oak, unfinished runs $5.50/Sq Ft installed, and prefinished $6.00/Sq Ft.
Typically, yes. Width and species get matched, new strips are toothed into the old at doorways, and both rooms are sanded together at $2.50/Sq Ft so the color reads continuous.
Engineered planks handle radiant systems better than solid oak. We check the system and subfloor first and recommend the right product for the room.
We float engineered hardwood over foam for $2.00/Sq Ft in labor including the pad, glue the joints ourselves and leave the concrete untouched.
Orders placed with Coventry tend to land at your curb overnight, and our installers get to work once the wood is in your house. Weekends are open as well.
Yes. Furniture moving out and back is $250 for the job, and ripping out old carpet or vinyl generally runs about $1.00/Sq Ft.
Labor gets settled on the first morning installers arrive, material when delivered. Sand and finish portions split half at start and half on completion.
Our installers, NWFA certified, licensed and insured, back the labor for one calendar year, and the oak itself carries the mill's own warranty.
