Walkthrough Before We Start
Ahead of install day we pace each room, poke a moisture meter into the plywood, sketch doorways and decide which wall the opening row hugs.

Everyone swinging a nailer in your living room holds NWFA certification, is licensed, is insured and works on our payroll. Strangers never show up.
When the truck backs in, we measure all over again, slit cartons, separate long lengths from stubby ones, and lean each threshold beside its doorway.
Should our labor slip before twelve months pass, the repair costs nothing, while the mill covers its planks on separate terms.

Long parallel rows tracking your longest wall: classic, calm, with almost nothing tossed as scrap.

Short oak pieces set heel to side in a tidy zigzag, the look of an old European salon.

Mitered ends lining up into arrowheads that pull your eye toward the far window.

Rows aimed corner to corner make a narrow room feel wider and hide any wall leaning off true.

Small squares of oak with grain flipped square by square, a parquet grid great for a breakfast nook.

Strip pairs swapping direction across the room, a woven look that rewards anyone who glances down twice.

Cleating solid wood is $2.25/Sq Ft in labor. Prefer that we supply the oak? Unfinished, put in place, lands at $5.50/Sq Ft, prefinished at $6.00/Sq Ft, both from our warehouse.
Humidity matters more than salt. We meter the subfloor and the wood, let planks acclimate indoors, and leave proper expansion space at each wall.
Solid oak should stay above grade. Downstairs, engineered wood floats across foam for $2.00/Sq Ft labor, but only once a moisture test on that slab comes back fine.
Trucks roll out of Coventry and reach Somerset the following day. Solid oak then rests inside your house a short while before nailing begins.
Pulling carpet, pad and tack strip costs about $1.00/Sq Ft. Debris rides away in our truck so your driveway stays clear.
Our crew can, charging $250 per job. Sofas, tables and beds go out before install and come back once the last row is nailed.
Labor gets settled that first install morning, and settle any wood or supplies from us when that delivery lands. We collect no deposit beyond those two moments.
Yes. Our workmanship stays protected twelve months past that last cleat, and separately, the mill behind those planks keeps whatever product promise it makes.
