Walkthrough Before We Start
Before install week someone walks your rooms, puts a meter on the plywood, notes the woodstove hearth and works out where row one starts.

NWFA certification, a license, insurance and a paycheck from us: every person nailing oak in your house has all four, with no hired strangers.
Install morning, the tape comes back out. We crack open the cartons, sort short and long pieces, and stage thresholds and reducers by every doorway.
If our work fails inside twelve months we return free, and the mill backs its own planks separately.

Plain parallel rows following the long wall, simple, timeless, and the least wasteful way to lay oak.

Short pieces locked heel to side, zigzagging like an old European library.

Angled ends meet in a line of points, guiding the eye from the door straight toward the far wall.

Running the rows corner to corner can stretch a tight room visually and mask a wall that leans out of square.

Little oak squares, each grain turned against its neighbor, a parquet grid that suits a dining nook.

Pairs of strips alternate direction across the floor in a woven pattern that rewards a second look.

Same rate as anywhere else we work. Cleating solid wood costs $2.25/Sq Ft for labor. With our wood, figure $5.50/Sq Ft for unfinished oak installed, or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
No travel fee. Our square foot price stays identical whether you live on a paved road or down a long gravel driveway near the reservoir.
It can. Woodstoves dry the air hard in winter, so gaps open more. We check moisture before nailing and suggest a humidifier to keep the wood comfortable.
Not solid oak. Below grade we float engineered planks over foam at $2.00/Sq Ft after testing the concrete for moisture first.
Most orders roll out of Coventry and pull into your driveway one day later. Solid oak then sits inside for a little while to adjust before nailing.
Tear out runs about $1.00/Sq Ft, and that old flooring rides off in our truck, which spares you a Saturday trip to the transfer station.
Install labor is handed over on arrival morning, and the wood is paid on delivery. Sanding projects get split, half day one, half at the end.
Twelve months of our workmanship, so if a plank lifts or a squeak develops from our work, we fix it. The mill covers defects in the wood itself.
