Walkthrough Before We Start
A site visit comes ahead of the order. Our lead installer checks the subfloor for movement, measures doorway clearances and plans the direction of the boards for the way light enters each room.

These are Brazil Floors employees, not subcontractors, and each one is licensed, insured and NWFA certified. We trained the person working on your floor.
When the crew arrives, they re-measure, place cartons room by room and set out reducers and trim at every opening before the first nail goes in.
Our workmanship carries a one year warranty, and the mill backs the wood separately. Install and material each have an owner if anything goes wrong.

Boards follow the longest wall, wasting little wood and drawing a long room even longer.

Short planks angled into a zigzag give a front hall in a historic house a tailored feel.

Boards cut to meet at a point bring rhythm to the open plan of a newer Dover home.

A 45 degree diagonal pulls the eye across the room and lends a library more width.

Parquet squares with alternating grain bring back a classic look in a den or sunroom.

Strips woven in a basket pattern, often framed by a darker border, give a dining room unusual detail.

Labor for nail down work is $2.25/Sq Ft, with the nails and the underlayment folded in. If we supply the wood too, the package is $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Yes. We measure every level, plan the transitions between rooms and work through the house in sequence so the new wood reads as one floor.
Engineered hardwood, floated on underlayment with glue at each joint, so no fastener touches the slab. Labor for that is $2.00/Sq Ft.
We do. Vinyl plank labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate labor is $1.99/Sq Ft, so one team can handle a whole renovation.
The next day. Our Natick warehouse is minutes from Dover, so delivery rarely delays the schedule.
A new hardwood tread is $60, riser, nosing, stain and labor included. Refinishing a sound step is $50.
Labor is paid on the day the crew arrives, material when the boxes are delivered, and sanding in halves, 50% at the start and 50% at the final coat.
A one year labor warranty from us plus the manufacturer's material warranty, from a licensed, insured and NWFA certified crew.
