Samples on Your Own Wood
You choose the color on your actual floor. Several shades get brushed onto small sanded squares, and each gets a fair look in bright noon sun and again after dark.

Stain shows every sanding swirl, so we finish with a very fine screen and vacuum the whole space two times before any color reaches the wood.
Our finisher rubs stain into a few square feet at once and wipes the surplus right behind, which keeps the color by the front door identical to the color under the bay window.
Our NWFA trained employees apply every stain. If anything about their work falls short within twelve months, they come back and correct it for free.

Our stain rate is $2.00/Sq Ft. When a complete sanding and refinish is needed too, that runs $2.50/Sq Ft with the stain already inside, so you are not charged twice.
Always. We sand a patch, brush on several samples and let you decide under the light in that room. Nothing goes on the full floor until you approve.
Gray can look great with white trim and shingle style homes, but red oak and white oak take it very differently. Testing on your floor shows exactly how it will turn out.
Yes, with care. Both woods can blotch, so we prep them with a conditioner or a sealer first and test before committing to the whole room.
Bring a cabinet door or a sample to the test spot, or we test right next to the kitchen. Seeing them side by side makes the decision easy.
Stain needs to dry and the polyurethane above it needs to cure. Before we begin, you receive a written day for careful walking and a second one for furniture.
You pay one half as work gets under way. The second half is settled after the polyurethane cures and you give the new color your approval.
Yes. If something about our staining labor goes wrong in the first year, we fix it, and every finisher in your home is a licensed, insured, NWFA trained Brazil Floors employee.
