First we figure out what your floor is made of: oak or pine, how wide each strip is, how the grain flows. Stain is tested on spare new pieces until the color vanishes.

Your free estimate works like an inspection. The tech looks over the damage, checks moisture with a meter and finds out what is underneath so the repair lasts.
Loose strips get screwed down, and the seams that pull apart in dry winter air are filled before sand and grit can work their way in.
Every repair tech is our own NWFA trained employee, licensed and insured through Brazil Floors, and each patch carries a twelve month labor guarantee.

Each job is unique, so pricing happens in person at a free estimate, once we see the damage, the species and the subfloor. You approve a written figure before we start.
Yes. We match species and strip width, lace the new pieces into the existing pattern and test stain on offcuts until the shade is a true match for your floor.
Not always. Many patches are finished by themselves. When the whole floor has faded, a full sanding gives the most even look, and we will say plainly which one is worth it.
Wood takes on moisture from humid air and damp crawl spaces, swelling at the edges. We find where the moisture comes from first, because replacing strips without fixing that will not last.
Usually. We find where the subfloor has come loose and screw it and the strips firmly to the joists, quieting most noise without pulling up the floor.
Many repair visits happen the day after your call. Small patches are often done in one day, while bigger water problems need the wood to dry out before we replace anything.
Our goal is a patch you have to search for. Matching grain, width and color, then blending the finish, makes most repairs very hard to spot.
