Dustless Floor Refinishing
Our sanders feed straight into heavy vacuums that trap dust right at the drum, and walls, sills and floors all get wiped down before any finish is spread.

Most rooms go from raw sanding to cured shine in a few days. Ahead of time we hand you a written plan showing when light walking is fine and when furniture returns.
Loose strips, black pet marks and open seams are fixed before any sanding, so patches disappear. Repair prices are given free at the estimate.
We stand behind every refinish for a full year of labor. You pay one half on the opening sanding morning and the balance after you inspect the last layer.

No stain, only clear poly, keeps oak honey bright in a sunroom that faces the salt marsh.

Medium brown masks the sand that tracks in from the clam flats on wet boots each summer.

A quiet neutral calms the orangey tint aging red oak picks up, pairing well with gray or white trim.

Red brown adds warmth to a dining room that looks across to Choate Island on gray winter days.

Dark walnut gives a front room real depth while the oak grain still shows through the color.

Ebony, close to black, looks dramatic in open rooms, though dust and pollen show up on it faster.

Sanding plus refinishing totals $2.50/Sq Ft, color and polyurethane included. Should you want help with furniture, that is a single $250 charge, and repairs get priced at the same estimate visit.
Very little. Each sander is hooked to a vacuum that pulls dust off the drum, plastic seals the doorways and our crew wipes down trim and windowsills before finish goes on.
Often, yes. Wide pine is softer than oak, so we sand gently, check how much wood remains above the nails and tell you honestly if a section is too thin.
It is. After sanding, sample patches go on a corner of the room and you compare them in daylight. Staining alone costs $2.00/Sq Ft, but the $2.50/Sq Ft refinish already includes color.
Surface scratches vanish under the sander. Deep gouges get filled, and dark urine spots soaked into the grain usually mean swapping those strips first so the room looks uniform.
You pay half on the day sanding starts. The rest is due once the last layer of polyurethane has cured and we walk the room together.
Timing hinges on the product and the humidity, which runs high near the marsh. We give you a written date for walking and a later date for furniture, and felt pads protect the new shine.
