How long will my floors be out of use?
Plan on three to five days for most homes. Water based finish dries faster, so you are often walking on it within a day of the last layer.
How messy is the sanding stage?
Very little. Our sanders run attached to vacuums, and we seal doorways with plastic, which sends nearly all of it into the collection bags.
How many times can oak be sanded?
Solid oak floors in Wakefield homes have often been sanded before and still have plenty left. Engineered wood carries a thin top veneer, so we measure it before deciding.
