Tread samples ride in the estimator's truck to Franklin. Place them on the floor at the bottom of your stairs and the right wood stands out.
Wobbly farmhouse steps are screwed tight before new wood arrives. After that, our installer scribes each oak tread to the farmhouse stringers, beds it in glue and fastens it down.
Licensed, insured and NWFA certified crews build every Franklin staircase, and the labor is warrantied for a full year. Any slip is corrected.

Unfinished treads can start the day after the estimate and a typical flight is done in two days. Prefinished treads are ordered and take weeks.
