Tread samples ride in the estimator's truck. Lay them on your floor at the foot of the stairs and the species that belongs there is obvious.
First job on any East Windsor stair is fastening every wobbly step back to its stringers with screws. After that the installer scribes each tread to the skirt board, glues it and nails it so it stays put.
Licensed, insured and NWFA certified installers build every East Windsor staircase, and we warranty the labor for one year.

Each step is $60 in East Windsor. The hardwood tread, the riser, the bull nose, a matching stain and the labor are all inside that figure.

On the open side we add a return end so the bull nose continues around the corner and no raw edge shows.
Unfinished treads are in stock, so the work can begin the day after the estimate and is usually done in two days. Prefinished treads have to be ordered and add a few weeks before we start.
Yes. The stair labor is covered for twelve months, and the people on your staircase are licensed, insured and NWFA certified.
