Tread samples ride in the van, so at your estimate you can rest red oak, white oak and hickory on a step and compare each one with the floor.
Loose steps are screwed down before anything else. Then each tread is cut to hug the walls, glued and fastened so the stairs stay quiet.
A one year labor warranty covers each staircase, and the crews doing the work are licensed, insured and NWFA certified, start to finish.

Each step is $60 and the price includes the hardwood tread, riser, bull nose, stain matched to your floor and our labor.

Squeaks usually come from loose treads. We secure the steps first, and new treads go down with glue and fasteners.
We install return ends, which bend the nose onto the exposed end so every tread edge looks finished.
Often as soon as tomorrow. Unfinished treads are stained on site, and most stairs take a day or two from start to finish.
Yes, one year on labor. Every crew we send is licensed, insured and NWFA certified, and we come back if anything shifts.
