Walkthrough Before We Start
Old farmhouses settle, and a hallway that was level in 1960 rarely is now. Our lead checks the subfloor, the thresholds and the stair landings before a single board is opened.

Everyone who comes through your door is on our payroll, licensed, insured and NWFA certified. Nobody is a subcontractor, and you deal with the same faces to the last day.
The crew tapes out each room, stacks the cartons where they will acclimate and sets trim pieces aside, so the install moves along without a hunt for parts.
We stand behind the labor for a year, and the wood itself carries the maker's warranty. Labor is paid when the crew arrives, material when the boxes are delivered.

Boards run along the longest wall for the quickest, least wasteful lay. A narrow Rowley hallway looks longer for it.

Short pieces turned ninety degrees and cut one by one into a zigzag. A fitting detail for a formal dining room in an older Rowley cape.

Each board is mitered at forty-five degrees so the rows close into a tidy V. It flatters an open plan in a recent build.

Planks turned diagonally pull the eye across the room, which helps a snug kitchen near the Mill River look wider.

Oak blocks set with the grain alternating, parquet fashion. A classic look for a sunporch with a view toward the Rowley River.

Short strips woven over and under, usually edged with a darker border. A traditional choice for the oldest houses by the Town Common.

Nail-down labor is $2.25/Sq Ft and covers nails and underlayment. Buy the wood through us and the package is $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Old board subfloors are common here, and we assess them at the free estimate. If the boards are sound we nail through them, and if not we put plywood down first.
For a damp slab we recommend floating engineered hardwood at $2.00/Sq Ft of labor, not nailing. We take a moisture reading at your visit before we suggest anything.
Yes, tear-out is about $1.00/Sq Ft. Your estimator checks what is down now and gives you the figure in writing.
Boxes leave the Natick warehouse on the day after your order and reach your Rowley driveway. Pay for material when the boxes are delivered.
We move it for a flat $250 and put it back when the floor is done. If you prefer to clear the rooms yourself, that is fine too.
Labor is due when the crew arrives to start. Material is paid when the boxes reach your house, so nothing sits unpaid or prepaid for long.
Book the free in-home estimate online and $250 comes off. Material bought through us can also run up to 30% off.
