Sample boards ride up the mountain in our truck. Try them on your own floor in your own light and the right oak is easy to spot.
At the house, our estimator tapes each room, reads the moisture and notes every doorway and step. The quote then carries the whole scope in writing.
One year of warranty covers our labor, and the boards keep the manufacturer's terms. The people on your floor are on our payroll, licensed, insured and certified by the NWFA.

Planks follow the longest wall, wasting the least and stretching a compact cabin room.

Short pieces laid at right angles in a zigzag, each cut by hand. A fitting choice for the dining room of an old mountain farmhouse.

Every board end is mitered so the rows meet in a clean V. Looks sharp across an open kitchen and living area.

Diagonal planks draw the eye across the room and make a small den seem wider.

Oak squares with grain turned in alternate directions, in parquet style. Suited to a glassed-in porch facing the Taconics.

Strips woven over and under, usually outlined by a darker border. A classic touch for an entry hall.

Labor is paid when work starts and material when boxes are delivered. A sanding job is billed in two equal parts: the first when we begin, the second when the last coat goes on.
