Walkthrough Before We Start
Old country houses shift with time, so on day one the lead installer checks the subfloor, every doorway and the stairs across your Foster home.
Old country houses shift with time, so on day one the lead installer checks the subfloor, every doorway and the stairs across your Foster home.
Even at the end of a long dirt road, every installer we send is licensed, insured and NWFA certified, so your home and family are covered.
Day one starts with a tape measure in each room and a tally of all boxes, moldings and reducers, so nobody makes a long drive for parts.
Your labor gets a one year warranty from us, and the boards come with the maker's warranty, so you have coverage on both sides.

Wide oak boards run from wall to wall in straight rows, the classic country look of old homes in Moosup Valley.

Small planks set in a tight zigzag give a formal look to the sitting room of an old farmhouse by Foster Center.

Plank ends trimmed on an angle form a neat V, a modern look for newer houses along Hartford Pike.

Boards set at 45 degrees widen a small kitchen to the eye, a smart move for the capes near Hopkins Mills.

Squares of oak change direction square to square, a crisp floor for a dining room with a view of the woods.

Short strips laid in pairs at right angles feel like a basket weave, a cozy choice for a study with a woodstove.

Labor for a nail down install is a flat rate of $2.25/Sq Ft, with underlayment and nails. Wood and labor together are $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00 prefinished.
Of course. We work in every corner of town, so the flat rate per Sq Ft is the same in Moosup Valley as it is near Foster Center, and the crew is too.
Yes, as long as there is a slab. We float engineered planks over underlayment with glued seams, so nothing is driven into the concrete, at $2.00/Sq Ft.
Prefinished is ready to walk on right away, and unfinished oak is finished on site in the color you pick. Packages are $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished and $5.50 unfinished.
One day. The wood ships from our warehouse in Coventry and we deliver Sunday to Sunday, so even a house up by Jerimoth Hill has it the next day.
A new oak tread is $60. Stairs that are solid wood under the wear can be refinished instead for $50 a step, sanded and stained so they match the floors.
You pay for labor the day the crew begins, and you pay for material when the truck delivers it. Sanding is split 50% at the start and 50% at the final coat.
It is. We give a one year warranty, and the wood keeps its manufacturer warranty. Each installer is licensed, insured and NWFA certified as well.
