Walkthrough Before We Start
Houses on wooded lots shift with the seasons, so before ordering wood our crew lead probes the subfloor, checks thresholds and studies the stair landings in your Bethany home.

Everyone who works on your floor is a Brazil Floors employee with a license, insurance and an NWFA certificate, never a subcontractor you have not met.
On day one we take room measurements and stage boxes, trim pieces and reducers near the door, which keeps the installers moving instead of searching.
Workmanship is guaranteed for a full year by us, while the boards keep their own manufacturer coverage, so both sides of the job have a safety net.

Boards follow the longest wall for the quickest install and the least cut waste, and the room reads longer.

Short boards zigzag in a pattern cut one piece at a time, period correct for an old Bethany farmhouse.

Boards cut at 45 degrees meet in a V, which fits the open layouts of newer houses off Carrington Road.

Planks run on a 45 degree line from the walls and draw the eye through a small cape kitchen.

Alternating oak squares create a parquet look that suits a sunroom or mudroom.

Short oak pieces woven over and under, edged by a dark border, fit older homes along Beacon Road.

Labor for nail-down is $2.25/Sq Ft, and nails plus underlayment come with it. Material through us puts the total at $5.50/Sq Ft unfinished or $6.00/Sq Ft prefinished.
Yes. Old carpet and pad come out for about $1.00/Sq Ft, and soft spots in the subfloor are fixed ahead of the oak.
Floating engineered hardwood at $2.00/Sq Ft in labor, set over padding so nothing penetrates the concrete. Waterproof vinyl is the better pick where dampness is steady.
We do. Vinyl plank labor is $2.00/Sq Ft and laminate is $1.99/Sq Ft, both with underlayment.
The day after you order, from our warehouse in Milford. A short drive up Route 63 or Amity Road gets the crew started quickly.
Each new hardwood tread is $60 with riser, nosing, stain and labor in the price. Steep farmhouse stairs wear down in the middle and benefit most.
The crew is paid on arrival, and the boxes are paid for as they are delivered. Sanding is divided 50% at the start and 50% at the last coat.
A year of labor warranty is ours, and the manufacturer backs the flooring. We use our own insured, licensed, NWFA certified employees.
