Walkthrough Before We Start
Before the install starts, our lead installer walks your Barrington home to check the subfloor, the walls and the alignment of every room.
Before the install starts, our lead installer walks your Barrington home to check the subfloor, the walls and the alignment of every room.
Our NWFA certified hardwood installers are licensed and insured, so your home and each person working in it stay covered the whole time.
Right before we start, we remeasure every room and make sure every box of flooring, each reducer and all the moldings are on site.
Our one year labor warranty protects the installation, and the flooring also keeps its own warranty straight from the manufacturer.

Long boards run in a single line down the longest wall, the classic look in Rumstick Point homes with the least waste.

Short planks with square ends meet in a zigzag, and in Hampden Meadows living rooms it brings quiet warmth.

Boards cut at an angle meet in a clean V that points down the hall like an arrow, a sharp look for entries in Nayatt.

Planks run at 45 degrees to the walls, so small bedrooms in Bay Spring look wider and uneven walls are hidden.

Small square blocks are set in alternating directions to form a checkerboard, a neat grid for dining rooms in Sowams.

Pairs of short strips cross at right angles, so the floor looks woven by hand, a cozy touch for studies near Tyler Point.

You pay a flat rate of $2.25/Sq Ft for nail down labor, plus underlayment and nails. If we bring the wood, unfinished is $5.50/Sq Ft and prefinished $6.00/Sq Ft.
Salt air and muggy Augusts are the real test in Nayatt and Rumstick Point. We test the subfloor for moisture first and use engineered planks in damp rooms.
Usually, yes. We hold sample boards against your old floor to match its width and species, and sanding both together gives one even color for $2.50/Sq Ft.
Below grade, floating is our go to. It runs $2.00/Sq Ft with underlayment included, the joint glue is on us, and no nails ever go into the concrete slab.
Most orders ship from our warehouse in Coventry the next day, and the crew can start once the wood lands. We book Sunday to Sunday, so weekends work.
Each new tread is $60. If your stairs are already wood and only look tired, refinishing comes to $50 per step, stained to match the floors upstairs and down.
The install is paid when our crew arrives and material once the truck pulls into your driveway. Sanding is split, half on the first day and the rest at the last coat.
Our NWFA certified installers are licensed and insured, and their work is backed by a one year labor warranty from the day we finish. If needed, we come back.
