Samples on Your Own Wood
Samples are brushed onto freshly sanded boards inside taped squares, several colors at once, so you judge them in your room with the window light and the lamp light you actually live in.

Scratches the sander leaves show dark once color goes on, so a buffer with fine screens goes over the big machine's work and the floor is vacuumed twice before stain.
Stain is applied to one section at a time and wiped before the next begins, which keeps the color even with no overlap lines across a big farmhouse room.
Brazil Floors employees, NWFA trained and insured, do the staining in Ashfield, and the labor is guaranteed for twelve months.

Staining is $2.00/Sq Ft, and that includes the sample squares on your own floor, color rubbed in by hand and a clear protective coat. A complete sand, stain and three coat refinish is a different service at $2.50/Sq Ft.

Yes. Edgers and scrapers get into the corners the big sander cannot reach, and the treads are colored to suit both floors.
Usually overnight. We check that the stain is fully dry before sealing it, so nothing smears under the poly.
Most families stay. A few spend the first night elsewhere because of the odor while the finish cures, and it clears quickly in a hilltown breeze.
Often the following day. One small crew handles the sanding, the samples, the color and the sealing from start to finish.
Yes. Twelve months of labor warranty, with NWFA trained Brazil Floors employees doing the work rather than subcontractors.
