Red oak versus white, a two and a quarter strip versus a wide plank, flat sawn grain or rift: we pin all three down, then tint the new pieces until they disappear.

That free visit is a real inspection. A moisture meter, a flashlight in the cellar and a few questions tell us why the wood failed, so the fix sticks.
Bouncy spots get anchored with screws into the plywood, and seasonal cracks that swallow crumbs every February are packed with filler and leveled.
Each repair is done by our NWFA trained, licensed and insured techs. If a patched area misbehaves inside twelve months, labor to correct it costs you nothing.

There is no one size price, because every repair differs. We come out free, look at the damage, its size and what lies beneath, then commit to one firm price in writing up front.
Almost always. We remove only the bad pieces, stagger matching wood into the rows and blend finish so the mended spot settles in like it grew there.
Rarely. We chase down a twin for species, width and grain, then audition stain on the fresh pieces. A light sanding of nearby planks sometimes evens things out even more.
Water, nearly every time: a slow drip under the sink, a damp cellar, a leaky door. We find it, give the floor time to dry, and replace only planks that stay out of shape.
Most of the time. Screws travel down through the loose strip and bite the framing, and the heads disappear under filler, so nothing has to come up.
Light surface marks sometimes sand away. When urine has turned the wood black, we replace those planks and stain the new pieces to blend in.
Often the morning after our estimate. Should new planks be required, Coventry has them on a truck within a day so work can begin right away.
They do: one year on labor. Every fix goes to NWFA trained techs on our staff, all licensed and insured, and they come back if a patched spot needs attention.
